In 1979 Stratos and Despoina Karkani opened a bakery in Ammoudari Askifou Sfakion. It was an important fact that taught me to respect always what i am doing. When i grew up, baking was a natural concequence in my life. Despite the dificulties of my job, the smell of fresh  bread is a daily fact.  Later, the bakery turned into a modern one. There is a wide varriety in traditional rusks such as wheaten rusks and cookies as well as many other products. Those products were the beggining of the bakery "Λευκά όρη Καρκάνη. My purpose is to product fresh and quality rusks.
